In one of the strangest celebrity breakups we’ve ever seen, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are calling it quits, and the reason? Dunkin’ Donuts.
Sources close to the couple have revealed that the final straw in their marriage was Ben’s unrelenting desire to build an actual Dunkin’ Donuts location inside their sprawling Los Angeles mansion. Affleck, a known Dunkin’ superfan, had reportedly become obsessed with the idea of having a 24/7 Dunkin’ right inside his home.
While Lopez initially thought it was just one of his quirky ideas, things escalated when Affleck brought in contractors and began laying out plans to transform one of their mansion’s wings into a fully operational Dunkin’ Donuts, complete with a drive-thru, an espresso machine the size of a small car, and a staff of baristas on call.
Despite Lopez’s repeated objections, Affleck persisted, claiming it would be “convenient” and “keep the magic alive.” “Who wouldn’t want their own personal Dunkin’?” Ben reportedly argued. But Lopez wasn’t having it. “This is our home, not a strip mall!” she was overheard telling friends.
The tension came to a head when Affleck showed up one day with branded Dunkin’ uniforms and started taking “staff applications” from friends and family for shifts at their would-be in-house location. Lopez, fed up with what she called his “Dunkin’ delusions,” decided enough was enough. “I can’t live like this,” she said, filing for divorce just days after Affleck began stocking their pantry with industrial-sized bags of Dunkin’ coffee beans.

Memes of Affleck sipping Dunkin’ have flooded social media, with captions like, “Ben chose Dunkin’ over J-Lo,” and “When you love coffee more than your marriage.”
As for Affleck, sources close to KRC say he’s undeterred by the breakup and is reportedly moving forward with his in-house Dunkin’ Donuts dream full steam ahead.
