Michael Keaton is now Michael Douglas

During a press conference for the highly anticipated Beetlejuice sequel, actor Michael Keaton stunned everyone by announcing that he’s no longer Michael Keaton, he’s now Michael Douglas.

In what was supposed to be a routine promotion for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Keaton took the microphone and immediately changed the script. “I have something important to share with you all,” he said. “Effective immediately, I’m no longer Michael Keaton. From here on out, you will address me as Michael Douglas.”

The press was left speechless, unsure whether they were witnessing a comedy bit or a Hollywood identity crisis. But Keaton, or rather Douglas, doubled down, saying, “If the old Michael Douglas has a problem with this, I’ll be more than happy to settle it in the ring, with a pile driver.”

The shock didn’t stop there. Keaton, sorry, Douglas, stared straight into the cameras and said, “Yeah, you heard me. If Michael Douglas wants to keep being Michael Douglas, he’ll have to take me down first. I’ll hit him with the best pile driver you’ve ever seen!”

Gasps filled the room as Keaton continued: “I’m not here to mess around. There’s a new Michael Douglas in town, and I don’t plan on losing that title.”

Immediately after the announcement, social media blew up with confusion, questions, and a flurry of memes under the trending hashtags #MichaelVsMichael and #DouglasDown.

One fan tweeted: “Forget Beetlejuice, I want to see Michael Keaton pile drive the actual Michael Douglas. Hollywood, make this happen!”

Another joked: “Does this mean there’s a Michael Keaton vacancy? I’ll throw my hat in the ring.”

As the world tries to make sense of this identity switch, Hollywood insiders are left scrambling. Sources close to the Beetlejuice production have admitted they had “no clue” Keaton was going to drop this bombshell at the press conference.

Meanwhile, the real Michael Douglas has yet to respond to the threat of a pile driver, but reports suggest that his team is “monitoring the situation” closely.

What’s Next for Michael…Douglas?

As the press conference wrapped up, Keaton, or Douglas, was seen flashing his signature smirk before leaving the stage. When asked if the Beetlejuice sequel will be affected by his sudden name change, he simply replied, “Beetlejuice is in the past, this is about the future. The future is Michael Douglas.”
